Charles Traband was an early member of the department in the 1930’s. There are very few records from this time frame but a search revealed he was born on June 21, 1879 and was laid to rest July 24, 1958, with his final resting place at Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery, Upper Marlboro, MD. He is the brother of John H. and Horace W. Traband.
