Reginald Bruce Buck was an early member of the department, he served in many positions, in 1930 he served a partial term as Chief, then again served the department as chief in 1937 and 1938.  He was a local resident of Upper Marlboro and was born on August 17, 1903, and remained an area resident until his passing on January 24, 1989.  is final resting place is the Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery in Upper Marlboro.
