Samuel Lee Kramer was an early member of the department, serving multiple positions, including Chief from to 1944 to 1949.  While records are scarce from this time in the department he was born on January 18, 1924, and was laid to rest on May 14, 2002, his final resting place is the Hebrew Men’s Cemetery Baltimore, Maryland.
