William Alton Davis served the department as an early member and a 1936 Incorporation Officer, records from this time are scarce, but a search shows he was born on November 10, 1903 and was laid to rest on October 31, 1980.  His final resting place is shown as Saint Marys Catholic Church of Piscataway Cemetery
