William Hill Brooke was an early member of the department and a 1936 Corporation Officer, records from this time frame are scarce, but an internet search shows that he was born on March 18, 1897 and was laid to rest on March 19,  1976 with his final resting place located at Trinity Episcopal Church Cemetery Upper Marlboro
